Did you know?

I was at Tim Hortons today and was getting ready to pay for my coffee when they gave it to me for free. This is not the first Tim Hortons this has happened to me at. The staff told me this is a common practice at most of the Tim Hortons coffee shops. This is because one of the two original owners was a fire fighter. So when you are in uniform and are on the go, stop in and see if your Tim Hortons will take care of you like this one does me.

Belle Isle

Every time I go out to Belle Isle I am reminded of the gem that once was.
Its always a great early morning ride out there on the bikes! Maybe the day is growing near when we might see the operations of the island change to more of a metro park like system w/ day & yearly passes and open from 8am-8pm...
Then we can go back to enjoying the aquarium, canoe rentals
and much more!
